Analysis Training This training will introduce participants to a socio-historical analysis of racism in the United States and its institutions. Participants will explore the nature of racism, its roots in North American history, its continuing effects in our culture and the relationship of the church to this history. During this three-day training, participants will explore a definition of racism, the connection of racism and power, and the way racism is manifested individually, institutionally, and culturally. The Introductory Training is intense and eye-opening. The participants understanding of the world and history will be challenged. Although a times difficult, the experience of confronting the sin of racism is liberating. There is a 45 person limit per training. Registration costs vary per event. For information about training in your area, contact Reconciliation Ministry or your Regional Team. Upcoming Events
